Banoffee Pie

Sunday, October 18

I made this scrumptious pie last week. My oven is still not working at that time (due to the flood) so I decided to try a no-bake dessert.

Its my first time to do it so its not yet perfect for my taste, but it still tasted good. I love the combination of Banana, Dulce De Leche, Chocolate and Whipped Cream. Yummy!

Enjoy! :)

I'm sorry to hear about the flood.

That's an amazing pie! I could never temper chocolate like that!

@ B. Kushner - at first I have a hard time tempering too but I finally got it.. You can try it using microwave just for 15 sec then stir it because it may look like its still solid but its actually melted already, then after that if its still solid put it back again for 10 secs and repeat the process until its fully melted. Be sure to watch it carefully because its really tricky.. :) Goodluck!

I normally don't like eating pies but this looks delicious! Dulce de leche is amazing! Starbuck's used to have a dulce de leche drink that I loved but I don't know why they took it off the menu. Well I hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!
